That's right! This Friday morning at 6:00am bright and early I will be getting on a plane and heading to Texas! I am so excited to be able to attend the I Heart Faces Photography Conference this year. I am looking forward to learning and hopefully meeting some new people.

Last week my sister and her husband headed off on an envious two week cruise around Europe. I found this website that tracks the ships as they move along their cruise routes. So here is where my sister is today.... lucky.
She is at the biggest red dot in the center of the map, I believe it is Messina, Italy.
Tony & I were blessed to be able to go to Europe at the end of 2010 and we had an amazing time while we were there. It made me look up the photos from the trip so I thought I would re-share a few.

A few weeks ago Tony took me to Palm Springs to see the newly arrived Marilyn Monroe statue from Chicago. Every year it will be moved to someplace new. It started in Chicago last year and is now in Palm Springs, CA for the next year. She is 26 feet tall in her legendary pose from The Seven Year Itch. The statue was created by Seward Johnson, you can read the article here.

These are some flowers that I found around the houses.
The last day in Hawaii we went and walked around the town of Haleiwa. They have a bunch of little shops and the best Shave Ice ever!
We spent a few days at the Beach at Chun's Reef which is where many sea turtles hang out. It was so much fun to snorkel and see them swimming right under and around you. They also like to sleep up on the beach which was awesome to see them so upclose.
