Chicago - Friday September 18, 2009

Well today we slept in until 10:00 am here 8:00 am back home. It's hard to adjust to the time change when it goes forward. Today we ate breakfast at The Original Pancake house which had the most delicious pancakes by the way. We both got omelttes that were oven baked!! they were different but they still tasted good. After that we went to the Shedd Aquarium where we saw some awesome sea creatures. The best one was the alligator snapping turtle it looked like it had fur and it was humongus it almost looked pre-historic. The buluga whales were also really neat they were so playful and didn't mind all the people watching and taking pictures of them. Right now we are in the hotel room which has a great view of the Chicago River, getting ready to go to the Four Seasons for some massages, can't wait. Oh, this morning when we woke up I kept hearing drums outside and I finally figured out what it was. People were protesting the Marriott, something about exploiting immigrant workers. But the protesters were dressed in a grim reeper outfit and were wheeling around a dracula like coffin.
